There is sort of a plan. Sort of. My boyfriend Harrison and I recently purchased a van in NM, moved out of our house, and are both in the process of eliminating junk from our material lives. Starting Tuesday (May 24) we will pack up and hit the road with our adorable puppy, Rhubarb.
Our first stop: Berkley, California! Ben Mitchell is getting married on May 28th , and so the whole Taos crew is making their way out to help him celebrate.
Planned stop #2: San Fran! My friend Rhea is graduating from art school, and again, we plan on helping her celebrate. Also, we are going to say hello to Rison's granny!
From there... well, I guess this is where the plans cease to exist. We will go wherever the van takes us. We have about a one month block to travel around before we are due back in Roseburg, Oregon where we will be working on a blueberry farm (more on that later).
Some ideas:
California = Yosemite Valley, Bishop
Oregon = Smith Rock and Bend (to visit my sister and friends), Portland ( to see college buddies)
Washington = Seattle (to visit college and high school buddies), Leavenworth
Canada = Squamish
After our big adventure, we will return to Oregon to live on the Norris Farm in Roseburg for part of the summer. Basically, we will be working as row managers, eating blueberries, and living the sweet life. Rhubarb cannot join us here, so she will be living with friends (hopefully Col and Ian in Corvallis) where she can terrorize the neighborhood without disrupting an entire farm.
So I guess that is the plan. We will keep everyone updated with photos and fun stories!
